Manali is surrounded by shops selling handicrafts and carpets. Explore Mall Road, visit charming cafes, or indulge in shopping. After experiencing the beauty of Manali, our trekking adventure begins.
Following a delicious breakfast in Manali, we embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Jobra, the starting point of our trek. The drive showcases the true beauty of Manali, energizing us for the journey ahead.
At Jobra, our trekking adventure begins with a moderate climb to Chika at an elevation of 9,800 ft to 10,100 ft. The trek to the Chika campground offers picturesque views of Rani Nallah, a mix of birch, pine, and maple trees, and stunning vistas of the Himalayas.
We reach our first campsite, Chika, where we will spend the night.
Day 2: Trek from Chika to Balu ka Ghera
Today marks the beginning of the real trekking adventure as we delve deeper into Manali's beauty. After breakfast, we set off on our adventure.
Today's trek, lasting around 5-6 hours, takes us to Balu ka Ghera. The trail offers vibrant views of the Dhauladhar Ranges, colorful flowers, lush meadows, and rocky terrains of Himachal Pradesh.
Leaving Chika camp, we cross a wooden bridge and encounter a creek before reaching Bhalu Ka Ghera, known for brown bears' hibernation. The trek unveils the beauty of the Dhauladhar ranges and the Himalayan region.
The Balu ka Ghera campsite offers breathtaking views. We settle in for the night at Bhalu Ka Ghera.
Day 3: Trek from Balu ka Ghera To Hampta Pass and Return
Today is the most adventurous day of our trek as we reach Hampta Pass. After breakfast, we embark on this anticipated journey.
The trek offers a change from green meadows to barren lands and majestic mountain views upon entering Lahaul and Spiti Valley. The trek to Hampta Pass, with a sharp ascent, rewards us with panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks.
At the summit, we enjoy magnificent views of the Himalayas before returning to Balu ka Ghera via Hampta village.
Day 4: Trek from Balu ka Ghera to Manali via Jobra
On the final day of the trek, we descend from Balu ka Ghera to Manali via Jobra, reminiscing about our journey and creating new memories along the familiar trails.
A private vehicle will be arranged from Jobra to Manali, concluding our trek and showcasing the beautiful sides of Manali and Himachal Pradesh.
