Madhya Pradesh Heritage & Wildlife Trail - By Trexpert

Day 1 – Indore → Omkareshwar → Maheshwar

Morning: Depart from Indore towards Omkareshwar (Approx. 80 km / 2 hrs).

Visit the sacred Omkareshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and take a short walk along the Narmada River.

Afternoon: Continue the journey to Maheshwar (Approx. 65 km / 1.5 hrs).

Explore the Ahilya Fort, Narmada Ghats, and local weaving centers famous for Maheshwari sarees.

Evening: Relax at your heritage accommodation, such as Hotel Raj Palace or similar.

Overnight: Maheshwar

Day 2 – : Maheshwar → Mandu → Ujjain

Morning: Drive to Mandu (Approx. 65 km / 2 hrs).

Visit Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, Rani Roopmati Pavilion, and Baz Bahadur’s Palace, marveling at the Afghan architecture and history of love and valor.

Day 3 – : Ujjain Sightseeing → Overnight Train to Gwalior
