Expedition Objectives
The Marble Rocks Climbing Expedition is designed with multiple learning and adventure goals:

Detailed Expedition Experience
Day 1 – Arrival, Orientation & Rope Skills
The expedition begins with participants arriving at the adventure campsite in Jabalpur. After tent allocation and settling in, the evening starts with a welcome session. Here, we introduce the instructors and outline the program objectives.
You will be introduced to safety protocols, team coordination, and adventure ethics.
Team Building Activities
Interactive games and group challenges will help you develop trust and communication within teams.
Basic Knot Workshop
You will learn essential climbing knots such as:
Clove Hitch
Figure 8 Knot
Overhand Knot
Understanding these knots is essential for rope safety and climbing systems.
The evening concludes with a campfire reflection session. Here, participants share expectations and prepare mentally for the climbing activities ahead.
Day 2 – Rock Climbing at Swargdwari
The second day begins early with breakfast before heading to the climbing site at Swargdwari.
Safety Orientation
Before climbing begins, instructors conduct a detailed briefing covering:
Helmet and harness usage
Climbing commands
Belaying techniques
Risk awareness and communication signals
Climbing Session
Participants begin with basic climbing drills focusing on:
Foot placement and balance
Efficient body movement
Controlled ascent techniques
As confidence builds, you will progress to higher climbing routes under instructor supervision.
Visit to Dhuandhar Falls
In the evening, participants visit the majestic Dhuandhar Falls. Here, the Narmada River plunges dramatically through marble cliffs.
The visit includes:
Geological explanation of marble rock formations
Photography and scenic exploration
The day ends with dinner and a campfire reflection session celebrating the day’s achievements.
Day 3 – Waterfall Rappelling at Bagdari
The final day focuses on rappelling (abseiling) at the scenic Bagdari waterfall site.
Rappelling Training
Participants first practice basic techniques including:
Edge control
Brake hand positioning
Body posture during descent
Waterfall Rappelling Experience
Once comfortable, you will descend the rock face beside the waterfall under controlled belay systems. This thrilling activity is often the highlight of the expedition.
Safety and Equipment

UIAA-certified helmets
Climbing harnesses
